Established by Robert Tisserand in 1974, the company’s philosophy is to source the finest 100% natural pure essential oils of uncompromising quality, to offer innovative products with a holistic approach to wellbeing and beauty, and to make aromatherapy accessible to everyone.

Combining tradition, science and performance, Tisserand’s products are formulated with safe yet optimal levels of essential oils and contain omegas, antioxidants and vitamins which are proven to support skin heath in topical applications.

It was Robert Tisserand’s mother who first introduced him to aromatherapy, leading to a passion for the subject that continues to this day. At the age of 17 Robert decided that he wanted to share the benefits of essential oils with others, bringing essential oil based products into everyone’s home. After years of studying and practising as an aromatherapist, Robert started the Aromatic Oil Company in 1974 and in 1984 a new company, Aromatherapy Products Ltd, was formed, allowing Robert to act as an essential oil and formulations consultant. Roberts Tisserand’s pioneering essential oil expertise remains the company’s anchor and inspiration for their sourcing and blending of essential oils to this day.

Sourced from around the world, Tisserand’s oils are 100% pure organic, wild crafted or ethically harvested – wild crafted oils are derived from plants gathered from their wild habitat, while ethically harvested oils are sourced from plants consciously cultivated in their natural environment.
